While winding down a highly successful career working with individuals, families, and business organizations as a Certified Public Accountant, Ronnie chose to turn his attention to the psychological, emotional, and relationship issues of his clients rather than their financial and tax issues.
Ronnie returned to the University of North Texas and completed a Master of Education in family counseling. In addition to being NCC, Ronnie holds a certificate in Conflict Resolution from Texas Woman’s University. He has served as a mediator or co-mediator in family conflicts as well as personal injury cases. Ronnie is trained in collaborative law and is a past president of the Denton County Collaborative Professionals. He holds a Master Practitioner certificate in Neuro-Linguistic Programing (NLP). He is a member of the American Counseling Association and the International Association of Marriage and Family Counselors.
Ronnie is experienced in dealing with issues of anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem, family relations, trust, divorce, blended families, anger, substance abuse, interpersonal communications, adolescent adjustments, bereavement, same gender relationships, adultery, panic, social anxiety, emotional abuse and others.
Ronnie lives in Lewisville and is the proud father of Ryan Christopher and Dustin Tyler. He is the equally proud grandfather of Hailey, Reilly, Cheyenne, and Aden. When he is not spending time with family and friends, Ronnie enjoys traveling, photography, and reading.
